Yashodhan Karulkar

It all began way back in 1974. I was born in Girgaon, Bombay the commercial capital and a beautiful happening city in India on April 16, 1974.

I was brought up in Mulund a wonderful suburb of Bombay . I did my schooling in St. Pius High School , Mulund. I went on to join KET's V.G Vaze College usually called "Kelkar college" again in Mulund. I passed HSC, Higher Secondary school exam (science) with a whooping 96.33 % in Science and Math subjects in March 1991. Then came VJTI ..!

I graduated from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute [ VJTI ] , undoubtedly one of the premier engineering institutes in India in May 1995. I majored in Electrical engineering. VJTI was a great experience in my life. After getting the coveted B.E(Electrical) from Bombay University I joined Crompton Greaves one of the big Indian engineering conglomerate. Working with Cromptons (July 95 - July 96) I travelled a lot and learned a lot. I left the company to pursue further studies.

I'm currently pursuing an MBA (Marketing) from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies [ NMIMS ] in Vile-Parle, Bombay. It is one of the top ten B-schools in the country .I will complete the course in May 1998.

I am placed with Wipro ltd and shall join the Consumer products group on 1st June 1998.

Most of my free time is spent reading. I also love watching TV, movies and listening to music. I'm a huge fan of Simon & Garfunkel , Pink Floyd, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins . I am also into old Hindi songs and ghazals. I do have a great collection of cassettes. I love food and most friends know that I am hungry all the time .Favourite food ? Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji , Pizza , Burger, Bhel .....did I miss something ..?! I am a vegetarian by choice. I enjoy travelling and moving around. I like to make new friends all the time.
